Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 70s. She was able to survive on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to help supplement her income. Lennox believed that her abilities were inferior to those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other routes she could choose. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. She quit the band prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. She was the voice in The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and the year 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in 1993. It was a massive success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album as a solo artist was released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano that Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut solo album, and is a sequel to the art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You Go... Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish politician and singer. Following a modest success as a member of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to gain international recognition as the pop duo Eurythmics in the 1980s. The year 1992 was the year Lennox launched a solo career with the release of her first album Diva with a variety of successful songs includingWhy andWalking in Broken Glass. Medusa is a studio album that features covers of songs such as No More I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with seven studio albums by herself as well as a compilation.
